Removing and installing the generator
Gas engine Withdrawal | - Disconnect earth cable from the battery.
 | This data is erased from the memory of malfunctions of the engine or a protective code of a radio receiver. Before disconnecting the battery should read instructions in Section Removal and installation of the battery. |
 | - Disable the multi-connector -2- behind the generator.

- Unscrew the main cable from the terminal B. -3-
- Remove the V-belt, see. Chapter Gasoline engines, Section Removal and installation / belt tension.
- Unscrew the screws on the bracket of the generator, as well as the tension bracket and remove the generator.

Setting | - Paste generator and screw the bracket, without tightening completely.
- Insert the adjusting screw.
- Check the wear of the V-belt and replace if necessary.
- Apply and tighten the V-belt, see. Chapter Gasoline engines, Section Removal and installation / belt tension.
- Tighten the bolt with a force of 50 Nm, the tension bolts to 25 Nm.
- Connect the electrical wires to the generator.
- Connect the earth cable to the battery.
- If available, set the clock and set the security code radio.

Diesel engine Withdrawal Setting | - Paste generator and screw the bracket, without tightening completely.
- Insert the adjusting screw.
- Check the wear of the V-belt and replace if necessary.
- Apply and tighten the V-belt, see. Chapter Gasoline engines, Section Removal and installation / belt tension.
- Tighten the bolt with a force of 50 Nm, tension bolt c torque of 25 Nm.
