Checking the ABS sensor rotor through a hole to install the ABS sensor
Fig. 15.3. Checking the ABS sensor rotor through a hole to install the ABS sensor

Turning the drive shaft through the hole to install the sensor ABS (Fig. 15.3), check the rotor gradually ABS sensor for damage and contamination.
If there is damage to the rotor must be replaced by an external drive shaft CV joint.
If the ABS sensor rotor is dirty, clean it from dirt. To access the ABS sensor rotor, remove the bolt shaft drive to the hub and move the shaft inside.
In no event it is impossible to lower the car on wheels with the removed one or two drive shafts, as this will damage the wheel bearings. If you want to set the car on wheels and move it with the removed drive shaft instead of the drive shaft, set the outer CV joint and tighten a bolt of its fastening torque of 50 Nm.
Set the drive shaft in the hub and secure with the bolt tightening torque of 190 Nm and an additional dovernuv an angle of 180 ?.
