The right cylinder head cover



A WARNING
All clips and clamps that when removing the cylinder head cover are damaged or cut, the assembly must be replaced with new ones.

Remove the four screws and remove the engine cover (see. Fig. 3.2.1).

Loosen the hose clamps and remove the air tube connecting the air flow meter and the intake manifold (see. Fig. 3.2.53).
Release the three hose clamp on the housing of the cylinder head.

Remove the cover on the right cylinder head (Fig. 2.3.65).
Remove the bolt bracket pipe of the power steering cylinder head cover.

Location spark plugs.

Disconnect from the high-voltage spark plug (see. Fig. 2.3.54).

A WARNING
Do not remove the guide tube the oil level indicator, as would otherwise have to replace the O-ring at the base of the pipe.

Remove the bolt of the oil dipstick tube to the cylinder head cover.
Disconnect the crankcase ventilation hose from the cylinder head cover.
Disconnect the cable and electric wires from the cylinder head cover and take them away.

Remove nuts 1 and 2 (Fig. 2.3.66) and remove the cylinder head cover.

Setting
Installation is spent to sequences, return to removal, taking into account the following.
If the gasket is damaged cylinder head cover, replace it.

Apply a thin coat of sealant AMV 174 004 01 to the places shown in Figure 2.3.64.
Tighten the nuts 1 (see. Fig. 2.3.66) fastening the cylinder head cover, then crosswise tighten the outer nut 2.
