Reducing the pressure in the feed system



A WARNING
The fuel supply system is under high pressure, it is forbidden to weaken the connection fuel during engine operation or immediately after stopping. To carry out works of repair of the power supply system on the same drive is stopped, you must first reduce the pressure in the fuel system. After 2-3 hours after stopping the engine the pressure in the fuel system will fall to near zero.

1. Turn off the ignition, open the hood and place it on the palm.

2. Disconnect a wire from the plug "minus" of the storage battery.
3. Remove the mounting fuse and relay box located in the engine compartment (see. "Location of fuses, fuse links and relays and their replacement").
4. Remove the mounting relay box ?��30 (see. Fig. 10.2) of the fuel pump. By car Daewoo Lanos remove the mounting relay box number 31 (see. Fig. 10.3)
5. Connect a wire to the plug "minus" of the storage battery, start up the engine and let it run until full development of fuel from the fuel rail. After that, the engine will stall.
6. Turn the ignition off. You can now disconnect the fuel lines.
