Radiator cap



1 - overpressure valve - opens at 81,4-108 kPa;
2 - a cover of a radiator;
3 - spring;
4 - spring vacuum valve; the vacuum valve opens at minus 6.86 kPa vacuum.

Checking the overpressure valve

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove all foreign bodies from the valve seat and valve radiator cap.
2. Attach the radiator cap on the test instrument to test the radiator cap. Create a pressure of 81.4 kPa.

The opening pressure of the overpressure valve: 81,4-108 kPa
Minimum opening pressure of the overpressure valve: minus 6.86 kPa

3. After 10 to check the pressure, which should not change.
4. If necessary, replace the radiator cap.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check for damage of the spring and the mating surfaces of the valve.
