Drive shaft



Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Loosen the nuts of the front wheel.
  2. Lift the car and fix on support.
  1. Unscrew the nuts and remove the front wheel.
  1. Remove the cotter pin, remove the castellated nut and washer securing the drive shaft to the front wheel hub.
  1. Remove the cotter pin and loosen the nut trunnion ball joint tie rod to the steering knuckle. 09568-34000 stripper squeeze out a pin of the ball joint from the knuckle.
  1. Remove the caliper and a soft wire fix it on the front rack.
  1. Puller 09568-34000 disconnect the ball joint of the lower arm from the steering knuckle.
  2. Remove the speed sensor from the steering knuckle.
  1. Note the position and turn the bolts of the front lower arm to knuckle.
  1. Kapron hammer beat out a power shaft from the front wheel hub. If the drive shaft is firmly seated in the hub of the front wheel, spray impregnation spray solvent on the area of the splines and then re-screw the nut with flange so that it is flush with the end of the shaft. Striking on a nut a brass hammer, beat out a power shaft from a nave.
  1. Reject the outside knuckle and remove drive shaft from the front wheel hub.
  2. Drain the transmission fluid from transmission.
  1. Insert mount between an internal SHRUS drive shaft and a transmission and easy blow on mount take a power shaft from a transmission.
  • To prevent damage to the gearbox housing and constant velocity joints, use pry carefully.
  • Do not insert the mount is very deep, so as not to damage the oil sealing ring.
  • Do not pull the drive shaft, as this will be damaged by constant velocity joints.
  1. Remove the drive shaft from the gearbox.
  • Install drive shafts instead of a special plug to the gearbox dirt has not got.
  • Properly support the drive shaft.
  • Each time you remove the drive shaft, replace the O-ring of differential.
  • After disconnecting the drive shaft from the hub, be careful not to damage the ABS sensor and a gear sensor rotor on the drive shaft.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Check the boot band of the drive shaft for damage and hardening rubber.
  2. Check the ball joints for wear.
  3. Check the slots at the ends of the drive shaft for wear and damage.
  1. Check the dynamic vibration damper for cracks and wear.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Grease a working edge of an oil sealing ring of differential.
  1. Establish a new lock ring on the internal end of the drive shaft. A push, insert a power shaft into a transmission, thus a cut of a lock ring should be at the bottom.
  2. After installation, pull out the drive shaft and make sure that it is securely round retaining ring.
  1. Set the brake knuckle shield, hub, brake disc and wheel bearing.

Be careful not to damage the brake shield and O-ring.

  1. Set SHRUS Birfield in the knuckle.
  2. Almost knuckle must be installed in the lower arm simultaneously with the installation of SHRUS Birfield in the knuckle.

Be careful not to damage the ABS sensor and a gear sensor rotor on the drive shaft.

  1. Connect the knuckle to strut front suspension and secure them with bolts and nuts, having tightened their moment 75-90 N ??? m.
  1. Establish a pin of the spherical hinge of the bottom lever in a rotary fist and fix a nut, having tightened its moment 60-72 N ??? m.
  2. Set pin of the spherical hinge of a tip of steering draft in a rotary fist and fix a nut.
  3. After installation, manually check for smooth rotation of the drive shaft.
  1. Place the washer under the nut of the drive shaft to the hub of the convex side outward, and then screw the castellated nut and secure it with a locking pin.
  1. Fill the gearbox transmission fluid.
  2. Install the wheel.
  3. Check the front wheels.
  4. Check sensor ABS.
