Oil cooler diesel engines



Diesel engine oil cooler is located at the base of the oil filter and transfers heat to the engine oil heated coolant.

Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the oil filter.
  2. Disconnect the coolant hoses from the oil cooler.
  3. Remove the oil filter thread adapter.
  4. Remove the oil cooler to the oil pump.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Check oil cooler for leaks.
  2. Check oil cooler for damage.
