Replacing the engine oil

When replacing the engine oil, be careful because the oil is hot and may cause burns.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Warm up the engine to normal operating temperature and turn it off.
  2. Stop the engine.
  1. Remove the cover from the oil filler cap and remove the oil drain plug from the oil pan. Wait until all the oil has drained from the oil pan.
  1. Screw the oil drain plug with a new seal. Tightening torque: 35-45 N ??? m.
  2. Fill the engine with the required amount of engine oil required.

The amount of engine oil:

Engines 2.0 / 1.8 L

Without oil filter replacement: 3.5 L
With oil filter replacement: 3.7 L

Engine 1.6 l

Without oil filter replacement: 3.0 L
With oil filter replacement: 3.3 L

The diesel engine of 2.0 liters

Without oil filter replacement: 5.4 L
The oil filter: 0.5 l
With oil filter replacement: 5.9 L

Do not overfill since this will lead to foaming of the oil and reducing the pressure in the lubrication system.

  1. Place the lid on the oil filler neck.
  2. Start up the engine and check for oil leaks.
  3. Check the engine oil level and, if necessary, finish it to norm.
