More passive system (SRS) is designed for use in conjunction with the seat belts to improve the safety of road traffic accidents and reduce the risk of injury during activation of frontal and side airbags by keeping the front seat is occupied in the event of a frontal or side impact. System of additional passive safety (SRS) consists of the following elements: the front airbag driver (located in the center of the steering wheel), which contains a module with a folded airbag and an inflatable device (producer); Front airbag front passenger (located in the instrument panel on the passenger side), which contains a module with a folded airbag and an inflatable device (producer); side airbags (located in the outer sidewalls of the seat backs of the driver and front passenger), each of which contains a module with a folded airbag and an inflatable device (producer); ECU SRS (installed under the central part of the floor console), which controls the entire system; an acceleration sensor (accelerometer), which determines the deceleration of the car (the presence of a pin outside); intermediate clock spring located in the steering column; wiring and connectors of the system; Knee Bolster (knee bolster), located under the steering column. Recognition feature in strike outside the SRS-ECU performs the electronic acceleration sensor that continuously measures the acceleration of the vehicle and sends a corresponding signal through the amplifying filter circuit and the microprocessor. More passive system (SRS) is designed in such a way that the airbags have been deployed in the event of an accident in frontal or near-frontal impact of varying strength (moderate to severe). Service work on the more passive safety systems (SRS), and related materials, is allowed only by qualified personnel. Before you start the service personnel should read this manual carefully. It is necessary to take extra care when servicing the SRS, to avoid injury or death to service personnel (as a result of unauthorized airbag deployment) or the driver (as a result of malfunction of the SRS after improper maintenance or repair).
