Removal and installation of the hydraulic hose of the amplifier of a steering

Align the mark on the nozzle, discharge pipes and hoses assembly, then slide the water hose (Fig. 5.73).

Remove the intake air hose of the engine assembly.

Remove the discharge hose holder hydraulic amplifier.

Disconnect the discharge pipe from the union of the steering mechanism.

Lift up the vehicle and remove the clamp securing the return and discharge tubes.

Lower the car and remove the bypass screw (24 mm) discharge hose to the power steering pump (Fig. 5.74).

Remove the discharge hose and tube assembly (Fig. 5.75).

Setting

Installation of parts made in the reverse order of removal.

NOTE

When installing the discharge hose and tube assemblies to make sure they are not twisted, and there is no possibility of contact with other parts of the vehicle.

After installation is complete, remove the air from the hydraulic power steering.
