Removal, check and installation of the fuel injector

Fuel injectors
Fig. 2.270. Fuel injectors

Withdrawal
Discard the residual pressure in the fuel line to prevent the release of fuel.

ATTENTION
Cover the pipe connection with rags to prevent the release of fuel under the residual pressure in the fuel line.

Remove the fuel rail with the injectors.

ATTENTION
When removing the fuel rail, take precautions to prevent the loss of nozzles.
When removing the nozzles take measures to prevent fuel from spilling.

Technical condition

Check the resistance of the winding nozzle
Fig. 2.271. Check the resistance of the winding nozzle

Check the winding resistance atomizer by attaching an ohmmeter to its conclusion (Fig. 2.271).
Winding resistance atomizers: 15,9 ? 0,35 ohms at 20 ? C.
When non-compliance rate of resistance, replace the nozzle.

Setting

Fuel burner
Fig. 2.272. Fuel burner

Replace the nozzle and the new O-ring thermal barrier (Fig. 2.272).
Coat the O-ring solvent, spindle oil or gasoline.

Set the nozzle
Fig. 2.273. Set the nozzle

Install the nozzle in the fuel rail, turning the nozzle left and right (Fig. 2.273).
Ensure ease of rotation of the nozzle.

NOTE
Shortness of rotation of the nozzle indicates a possible misalignment of the sealing ring. Remove the nozzle, insert it into the fuel rail and recheck the ease of rotation.
