Check of hydraulic jacks of backlashes of valves

If the hydraulic jacks of backlashes of valves emit an abnormal noise, check them as follows:

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. While hydraulic valve clearance compensator is installed in the cylinder head and press it with a maximum intensity at the place where the rocker arm engages with clearance compensator. If the compensator gap is OK, it will move downward with great difficulty.
2. If you press the compensator gap is easily moved down, it is faulty and must be replaced.
3. If the elastic expansion joint gaps, perhaps it was air mixed with oil, thus, follow these steps:

  • Check the engine oil level.
  • Check whether the entry of air into the engine oil cause damage to the oil filter or oil filter gasket. When the cause of air into the engine oil warm up the engine, and for some time to move the vehicle at a low speed. Stop the engine and leave it for a few minutes, then re-start the engine and move the vehicle at a low speed. To remove air from the engine oil, repeat the procedure several times within one hour.
