Toothed belt

Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove the crankshaft pulley, water pump pulley and the drive belt.
2. Remove the cover of a gear belt.

3. Turn the crankshaft clockwise and align the timing marks to the piston in the first cylinder was established at top dead center on the compression stroke. At this time, the mark on the pulley of a camshaft and the cylinder head cover should be aligned and the dowel pin of the camshaft pulley must be at the top. Remove toothed belt tensioner.

Crankshaft rotates only clockwise.

4. Remove the timing belt.

Note the direction of rotation of the toothed belt to be reinstalled in its original position.

5. Remove the camshaft pulley.

Be careful not to damage the wrench cylinder head.

6. Before loosening nuts oil pump pulley, first remove the cap from the left side of the cylinder block and insert a screwdriver into the hole to lock the left balancing shaft in the original position. Screwdriver used for this purpose should have a rod with a diameter of 8 mm, which can be inserted to a depth of 60 mm.

7. Loosen the lock nut on the oil pump pulley and remove the pulley.

8. Loosen the pulley bolt right balancing shaft as long as it can not be unscrewed by hand.

9. Remove the tensioner "B" and timing belt "B".

After removal of the timing belt "B", do not attempt to weaken the pulley bolt with pliers.

10. Remove crankshaft pulley "B" from the crankshaft.

Check

Pulleys, pulley mechanism of a tension of a gear belt and idler pulley

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Check the pulleys of distributive and cranked shaft, pulley tensioner and idler pulley to the absence of uneven wear, cracks or damage. Replace them as necessary.
2. Check the ease and smoothness of rotation of the pulley tensioner and idler pulley, and the absence of background noise during rotation. Replace them as necessary.

3. Replace pulleys if there is leakage of the lubricant.

Tensioner

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Check the tensioner for leaks and replace as necessary.

2. Check the tip of the tensioner for wear or damage and replace as necessary.

3. Measure rod protrusion. If it does not correspond to the protrusion of the specification, replace the tensioner.

Tensioner rod protrusion: 14 mm

4. vice with soft sponges push rod into the tensioner. If the rod is pushed easily, replace the tensioner.

Vices push rod into the tensioner so that its end is aligned with the end of the tensioner. Use a vise with soft jaws to avoid damage to the tensioner.

Toothed belt

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Check the toothed belt for oil, water or dust. If you need to replace the belt. Slight traces should be wiped with a dry cloth or paper. Do not clean the timing belt solvent.

2. After repair of the engine or adjust the tension of the belt, check the belt. In the presence of these defects, replace the timing belt.

Description

Defect

1. Rigid back surface of the toothed belt

The surface has a glossy appearance. The rigidity of the surface is such that the nail does not leave traces on the belt
2. Cracks in the back surface of the toothed belt
3. Cracks or bundle toothed belt

4. Badly worn teeth

Worn side of the tooth, thus becoming visible fiber cord and rubber base

5. Badly worn teeth (last stage)

Worn side of the tooth, thus becoming visible scrapes and reduce the thickness of the tooth
6. Cracks in the bottom of the teeth
7. Lack of tooth
8. Heavy wear one side of the belt

Normal belt should have a smooth side face as if trimmed with a sharp knife.

9. The cracks on the side of the toothed belt

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Install the crankshaft pulley "B" on the crankshaft.

Pay particular attention to the mounting direction of the projection. If the pulley is not installed properly, it will cause damage to the toothed belt.

2. Apply a thin layer of engine oil the outer surface of the spacer, and then install it on the right balancing shaft as shown in the figure.

3. Place the pulley on the right balancing shaft and secure it with a bolt.

4. Align the mounting index on each pulley with the corresponding marks on the front casing.

5. After installing the timing belt "B", make sure that there is no slack in the tension side.

  • Align gear belt "B" with the center of the pulley located on the left side of the mounting bolts and the wheel shoulder, toward the front of the engine.
  • Align the marks on the pulley of the right balancing shaft with the mounting mark on the housing front.

6. Lift the tensioner "B", to pull the timing belt "B" so that the side of his tension was taut. In this condition, tighten the bolt tensioner "B". When the bolt is tightened, it prevents the shaft to rotate together. If the shaft is turned together, the belt will be tightened.

7. Make sure that the timing marks are aligned.

8. Ensure that after pressing the center of the belt on the side of the tension in the direction of the arrow, the belt slack is within specification.

The sagging belt: 5-7 mm

9. Install the flange and the crankshaft pulley on the crankshaft. Be sure to install in the direction as shown.

Pay attention to the mounting direction of the flange. If the flange is not installed properly, it will cause damage to the toothed belt.

10. To establish a special washer and tighten the pulley bolt to the crankshaft, and then tighten the bolt.

Torque: 110-130 N ??? m

11. Insert the screw driver into the through hole for the plug to block the left balancer shaft in the rest position.

12. Install the oil pump pulley and tighten the nut.

13. Install the camshaft pulley and fix a bolt, having tightened its torque listed in the specifications.

Torque: 80-100 N ??? m

14. Install the tensioner.

Remove the wire locking rod tensioner.

If tensioner rod is in the extended position, reinstall it, do the following.

  1. Secure the tensioner in a vice with soft sponges. If necessary, under the base of the tensioner fit washer.
  2. Vices push rod into the tensioner so that the hole A in the rod is aligned with the hole in the tensioner housing. Insert the aligned holes cut steel wire.

15. Establish a pulley mechanism tension lever mechanism of a tension.

Remove the wire locking rod tensioner.

16. After installing the crankshaft position sensor, the mark on the right pulley.
  1. Before installation of the toothed belt when the mark on the pulley and the cylinder head cover do not match, does not rotate the pulley in either direction by more than two tooth pulley.
  2. Rotation of the pulley by more than 2 teeth can lead to a collision with piston valves.
  3. This rotation of the pulley by more than two tooth pulley rotate after the rotation of the crankshaft pulley TDC.

17. Align the mark on the crankshaft pulley.

18. Align the mark on the oil pump pulley.

19. Install the timing belt tensioner pulley and the crankshaft pulley. Then, put your left hand on the timing belt tensioner pulley.
20. With his right hand put on the toothed belt pulley of the oil pump.
21. Install the timing belt around the idler pulley.
22. Install the timing belt around the pulley of a camshaft operating inlet valves.
23. Turn the pulley of the camshaft operating final valves per tooth in a clockwise direction, to align the mounting surface of the label to the top of the cylinder head. Pulling the belt with both hands and place it around the pulley of the camshaft operating final valves.
24. Gently lift the tension pulley mechanism as shown by the arrow so that the belt does not sag, and temporarily tighten the center bolt.

25. Check the alignment of timing marks.

26. Remove the wire locking rod tensioner.

27. Rotate the crankshaft two full turns clockwise and leave the engine for 15 minutes. Then, measure the protrusion of the tensioner rod "A" (distance between the tensioner arm and the tensioner body) and make sure it meets specifications.

Tensioner rod protrusion: 6-8 mm

28. Install the upper and lower casings of a gear belt.
