The crankshaft and flywheel



Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove the timing belt front cover, the flywheel and the oil pan.
2. Remove the rear cover from the cylinder and the rear oil seal ring of the crankshaft.
3. Loosen the nuts and remove covers of rods.

Mark the crankshaft bearing caps of the crankshaft in order to set them into place, and in the same position.

4. Remove the bolts and remove the crankshaft bearing caps of the crankshaft and remove the crankshaft. Keep your bearings with a lid.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Check the neck main and connecting rod bearings of the crankshaft for wear and generation. Check the oil holes on the crankshaft clogging.

2. micrometer measure diameters of necks of the crankshaft in two diametrically opposite directions. If you have a taper or oval pereshlifuyte crankshaft.

  • The diameter of the main journals of the crankshaft: 56,982-57,000 mm
  • Diameter of rod: 44,980-45,000 mm

Main and connecting rod bearings

Check the connecting rod and indigenous inserts the absence of local corrosion, development and other damage. If necessary, replace the pads.

Measuring the gap of indigenous and connecting rod bearings

PERFORMANCE ORDER

To measure the backlash of radical bearings and rod diameters measure the crankshaft journals and the corresponding internal diameter of the bearing. Gap - the difference between the inner diameter of the bearing and a corresponding diameter of the crankshaft journal.

  • Clearance crankshaft bearing: 0.02-0.05 mm
  • Clearance rod bearing ?��1, 2, 4, 5 of the crankshaft: 0,018-0,036 mm
  • Clearance rod bearing crankshaft ?��3: 0,024-0,042 mm

The most accurate and convenient measurement of backlash of radical bearings and rod with plastic rod calibrated Plastigauge

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Clean the indigenous and crank pins of grease and lubrication holes blow compressed air.
2. Install main bearing shells on the engine block. Arrange pieces of plastic measuring rod Plastigauge on loose leaves in covers of the crankshaft bearing.

3. Install the crankshaft main bearing shells in the cylinder block. In accordance with the label, set the crankshaft bearing caps. In certain sequence tighten bolts of covers of radical bearings of the crankshaft. Do not turn the crankshaft when measuring the gap crankshaft bearing. Remove the bolts and remove the crankshaft bearing caps of the crankshaft. The measuring template measure width of deformed plastic core Plastigauge and define backlash size.

  • If the clearance exceeds the limit, replace the crankshaft radical loose leaves.
  • When installing a new crankshaft, be sure to use standard-size inserts.

Oil seals

Check the front and rear oil O-rings for damage or wear and tear of working edges. If there are any defects, replace the O-ring.

Bearing caps

PERFORMANCE ORDER

After installing the bearing caps cranked shaft and make sure that it rotates easily and smoothly, and its axial play corresponds to the values given in the specification.

  • Crankshaft end play: 0,050-0, 250 mm.
  • Limits of seva play crankshaft: 0 to 250 mm.

Plate drive

Override deformed, broken or cracked plate having drive.

Flywheel

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Check the condition of the surface of the flywheel contacting the clutch disc. If there is a significant deterioration replace the flywheel.
2. Check flywheel runout surface in contact with the clutch plate.

Heartbeat: 0.13 mm

3. Check the condition of the flywheel for damage and wear and replace it if necessary.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Install the upper main bearing shells with grooves for the oil supply to the engine block. When reinstalling the inserts install them on the same places where they were before removal.
2. Install the main bearing shells in main bearing caps of the crankshaft.

3. Set the upper and lower central main bearing shells.

4. Before installing the crankshaft, apply a thin coat of clean engine oil to all sliding surfaces. Install the crankshaft main bearing shells in the cylinder block.

5. In accordance with the marking set caps crankshaft bearing with the arrow on each cap should be directed to the crankshaft pulley.

6. In certain sequence tighten bolts of covers of radical bearings of the crankshaft in the following order: the central, ?��2, ?��4, front and back.

Torque: 25 N ??? m + to tighten on a corner 90 ?� -94 ?�

7. Tighten bolts for 4 or 5 passes.
8. Turn a cranked shaft and check that it rotates easily and smoothly. Establish a measuring tip of a dial indicator on the front end of the crankshaft. Move along the axis of the crankshaft until it stops and install the scale of dial gauge to zero. Move along the axis of the crankshaft in the opposite direction to stop and read the values of axial clearance on the scale indicator.

9. Lubricate the outer surface of a back sealing ring of the new engine oil. The special tool 09231-21000 establish a sealing ring to lock the back cover in the slot.

10. Install the oil separator in the oil sealing ring so that the oil hole faces downwards.

11. Replace the cover with a new O-ring seal.
12. Replace the side rear plate cylinders.
13. Install flywheel and fix bolts tightened them in accordance with the specification.

Torque: 130-140 N ??? m
