Expansion airbag



Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove the air inlet hose connected to the throttle assembly.

2. Disconnect the accelerator cable cable cruise control.

3. Remove the coolant hose and the throttle assembly.

4. Remove the PCV hose and vacuum hose of the vacuum brake booster.
5. Remove the vacuum hose.
6. Remove the support.

7. Remove the expansion air chamber and gasket.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Check the air expansion chamber to be free from defects and damage.
2. Check for restrictions coolant channels.

3. The metal ruler and a feeler gauge, measure the flatness of the mating surface of the expansion of the air chamber.

  • Deviation from the flatness of the mating surface of the expansion of the air chamber: 0.15 mm
  • Maximum permitted flatness mating surface of the expansion of the air chamber: 0.20 mm

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Place the gasket expansion of the air chamber, label side up.

2. Return the throttle assembly bolts.
