Toothed belt



Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove the top casing of the engine.

2. The key to turn the lever 16 mm tensioning mechanism clockwise (at an angle of approximately 14 ?�) and remove the belt from the pulley.

3. Remove the water pump pulley, idler pulley, tension pulley mechanism and the crankshaft pulley.

4. Remove the upper and lower casings of a gear belt.

5. Support the engine a jack and remove the engine support bracket.

6. Separate the bracket of the lower frame of the engine.

7. Remove the timing belt tensioner.

Turn the crankshaft clockwise and align the timing marks to the piston in the first cylinder was established at top dead center on the compression stroke.

At this time, the mark on the pulley of a camshaft and the cylinder head cover must be aligned.

8. Remove the timing belt.

Note the direction of rotation of the toothed belt to be reinstalled in its original position.

1. Check belt condition and n When you have the following defects, replace the timing belt. The surface has a glossy appearance. The rigidity of the surface is such that the nail does not leave traces on the belt.

2. Check the ease and smoothness of rotation of the pulley tensioner and idler pulley, and the absence of background noise during rotation. Replace them as necessary.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Install the idler pulley to the rush of the water pump.

Set the idler pulley to a spring pin that is compressed and inserted into the protrusion of the water pump.

2. Set the gear lever tension and align the washer to the cylinder block.
3. Install the tension pulley mechanism to the lever mechanism of a tension.

4. Install the pulley and align the timing marks.
  1. When tightening the pulley bolt camshaft at hexagon wrench hold the camshaft from turning.
  2. Before installing the toothed belt if the mark on the pulley and cylinder head cover are not the same, do not turn the pulley more than 3 teeth in any direction.
  3. Rotation of the pulley by more than three teeth can lead to a collision with piston valves.
  4. This rotation of the pulley by more than 3 tooth pulley rotate after the rotation of the crankshaft pulley TDC.

5. Set the tension mechanism on the front door.

At this time, the installation rod tension mechanism should be fully recessed into the tensioner.

6. Align the timing marks of each pulley and fit the timing belt pulleys in the following order: crankshaft pulley idler pulley pulley camshaft operating inlet valves (left side) water pump pulley camshaft pulley control exhaust valves (the right side) tensioner pulley.
  1. When installing the toothed belt of the first cylinder piston is at TDC in the compression stroke.
  2. When installing the toothed belt is not put your fingers between the belt and pulley.

7. Align the alignment pin mechanism of a tension.

8. Replace the bottom bracket of the frame to the engine.

9. Install the engine support bracket.

10. Install the upper and lower casings of a gear belt.
11. Install the water pump pulley, tensioner pulley and the crankshaft pulley.
12. The key 16 mm turn the lever tensioner clockwise (at an angle of approximately 14 ?�) and install the belt on the pulley.
13. Install the top casing of the engine.
14. Install the oil filler cap.

The method of adjusting the tension of the toothed belt

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Rotate the crankshaft two full turns clockwise and after 5 minutes, check that the piston of the first cylinder is at TDC on the compression stroke.
2. Check the deflection of the timing belt, which must be - 6-8 mm.
3. Re-check the alignment of timing marks.

If timing marks are not aligned, remove timing belt and reinstall it from step 6.
