Removing and installing transmission



PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect in the first place, the wire from the negative terminal of the battery, and then - on the positive. Remove the drain plug and drain into a suitable container gear oil from the gearbox.

2. Remove the air filter.

3. Remove the control cable.
4. Disconnect the connector from the vehicle speed sensor.

5. Unplug the connector from the transmission range switch, solenoid connector and the connector from the oil temperature sensor.

6. Disconnect the hose from the oil cooler.
7. Special adaptation support the engine so that the engine weight was perceived device.
8. Remove the stabilizer bar tie rod, ball joint of the lower arm and drive shafts.

9. Remove the hinge bolts connecting the gearbox mounting bolts and the return pipe.

10. Remove the screws and remove the lower frame.

11. Remove the starter.
12. Remove the mounting bolts securing the gearbox.
13. Remove the bolts the gearbox to the engine.
14. Remove the transmission from the car.

Supports the engine and transmission to be installed in its place without tension.

The sequence of installation brackets.

  1. Bracket engine mounting.
  2. The upper arm of a transmission.
  3. Bracket back support.
  4. Front support bracket.

3. When installing the front support bracket being careful not to damage the bearing, which can lead to excessive vibration.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Place the front of the transmission torque converter and set the transmission to the engine.

If the converter is first set to the motor when setting the gearbox may be damaged O-ring transmission.

2. Place the transmission control cable and adjust as follows.

  • Move the selector lever and the transmission range switch in position N and install the control cable transmission.
  • When connecting the control cable mounting bracket to the transmission, select the clip so that it came into contact with the cable management.
  • Adjusting nut, select any free wheeling in the control cable and check that the selector lever moves smoothly.
  • Check that the control cable is properly adjusted.

3. Install in the reverse order of removal.
