Check the rack



Check rail cracking, damage and wear of the teeth. Replace the rail if required.

Measure the run-out rail (Fig. 5.27).
Heartbeat:
maximum near the point A: 0.15 mm;
maximum near point B: 0,20 mm.
If the heartbeat is not correct, replace the rail.
