Bleeding the fuel supply system
Remove air from the power supply system should be after the depressurization or running out of fuel from the fuel tank. Make sure that the fuel tank has a fuel.

|
On some turns unscrew the vent screw located on the fuel filter (Fig. 4.21). Hand pump, located at the top of the filter, pump up the fuel tank. Is pumping fuel up until the removal of air through the screw will not come out fuel without air bubbles. Under pressure from the hand pump tighten the screw of removal of air. Booster fuel pump manually until (about 15 times) until it is felt by a noticeable resistance.

|
If the engine does not start, since the fuel formed air lock, loosen the union nut on the fuel injectors and include a starter before the release of fuel from loose connections (Fig. 4.22). Then, retighten the union nuts and start up the engine.
A WARNING Make sure that the diesel fuel did not fall in the water hoses. Otherwise, the hoses should be immediately wiped. Damaged hoses replace. |
