Vacuum pump motor RF



The vacuum pump creates a vacuum required for the vacuum brake booster. It is fixed on the rear side of the generator and is driven by a generator shaft through the clutch.

Withdrawal
Loosen the clamp and disconnect the vacuum hose from the pump.
Loosen the clamp and disconnect the hose from the pump oil.

Remove the vacuum pump bolts and remove with O-ring (Fig. 4.27).

Setting
Check the O-ring vacuum pump for damage, otherwise replace it. Set the vacuum pump with O-ring and fix bolts, having tightened their moment 7 Nm.
Pour a little oil into the hole for lubrication of the vacuum pump.
Connect the vacuum hose and fix its collar.
Connect the oil supply hose and fix its collar.
