Compensator speed of the crankshaft of the engine idling
Compensator speed of the crankshaft of the engine idling provided on some models, is designed to automatically increase engine speed, decreasing under the influence of additional load on the air conditioning compressor and / or power steering. The compensator consists of servodiafragmy, the design of which depends on how the vehicle is equipped with - air conditioning and hydraulic or air conditioning and is only a three-way solenoid valve. The fault system is a decrease in the frequency of engine speed to idle when the air conditioner and / or power steering.
Servodiafragma Remove the air filter. Turn off all consumers and disconnect the connector from the electric fan cooling system. Disconnect hoses and close the stoppers compensator idling, reed valves, and temperature sensor. Warm up the engine to operating temperature and connect the tachometer. Models equipped with air conditioning

|
After a tee post vacuum at the hose and diaphragm, and the frequency of the engine speed to increase to 1200-1450 min -1. If necessary, set a predetermined speed of the engine crankshaft rotation of the adjusting screw (Fig. 6.19).

Models equipped with power steering Remove the air filter. Turn off all consumers and disconnect the connector from the electric fan cooling system. Disconnect hoses and close the stoppers compensator idling, reed valves, and temperature sensor. On models equipped with air conditioning, check and adjust servodiafragmu.

|
Disconnect the vacuum tube 1 (Fig. 6.20) and using a multiple post vacuum at the hose and diaphragm. The frequency of engine speed to increase to 800-1000 min -1 for models with a manual transmission and up to 1050-1250 m -1 for models with an automatic transmission. If necessary, disconnect the vacuum hose and set the desired speed adjustment screw (Fig. 6.21).

Connect the vacuum hose and check again the speed of the crankshaft of the engine idling. Three-way valve The three-way valve connected between an intake manifold and servodiafragmoy.

|
On models equipped with air conditioning, a three-way valve shuts off the vacuum in accordance with a signal sent to the control unit of the air conditioner switch. On models equipped with power steering, three-way valve shuts off the vacuum in accordance with a signal from the power steering switch (Fig. 6.22).

Turn on the air conditioner (engine should be idling). If the valve is defective, the stem extends servodiafragmy (Fig. 6.23). Turn off the air conditioner and turn the steering wheel all the way to the right or left. If the three-way valve and switch the power steering serviceable, it extends the stem servodiafragmy. Switch power steering

Disconnect the connector from the power steering switch and check the circuit is through the switch according to Fig. 6.24. With the engine idling, turn the steering wheel all the way to the right or the left - switch must be in the closed state.
