Repair and replacement of fuel lines

If you need to replace the metal tube of the fuel, use only seamless steel tube as copper or aluminum tubes are subject to rapid deterioration from exposure to vibrations generated during normal operation of the vehicle.
If the damage is only part of the metal tube of the fuel, it can be cut off and replaced by a rubber hose. To replace the hose is suitable only for petrol-resistant rubber reinforced on which marking ?Fluroelastomer?. The inner diameter of the hose must match the outside diameter of the fuel tube. The length of the hose should be 100 mm long segment of the fuel exhaust to provide entry hose 50 mm at both ends of the metal portion. Both ends of the hose clamps are sealed.
If the length of the metal tube removed fuel pipe is more than 150 mm, then the connection should use a metal pipe to put on her end of the segment hose length of not more than 100 mm.
