Fuel tank
WARNINGS The empty fuel tank fuel vapors are explosive, so be careful. Remove the fuel tank should be located away from open flames, sparking devices open by fire-dangerous light devices and places of smoking. |
Refitting Lift the rear of the car and establish on supports. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. Drain the fuel from the fuel tank into a clean container. Remove the rear seat, the access panel and disconnect the wire from the gauge fuel level indicator.

Label the tube and disconnect the fuel line (Fig. 6.3). Disconnect the charge hose from the fuel filler. Hold the tank (or ask the assistant to install the stand), remove the five bolts. Carefully lower the tank and remove it from the vehicle.

Before installing, make sure the tank is completely free of dirt and rust. It is recommended that the tank paint enamel corrosion. Replace the tank, corroded from the inside. Installation is performed in reverse order of removal.
Repairs Any repairs to the fuel tank (toplivonalivnoy neck) should be performed by a specialist who has experience in the performance of potentially hazardous operations. Even after cleaning and rinsing of the fuel tank therein remain explosive fuel vapors. If the fuel tank is removed from the car, it should not be stored near the places of possible sparks or open flames. Particular caution observe in the garage with the supply of natural gas.
