Brake pads disc brakes




A warning

Always replace brake pads simultaneously on both wheels. Use caution when working with the brake dust containing asbestos, which is dangerous for health.


Replacement

FRONT WHEEL

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the cap of the brake fluid reservoir. Remove the wheel. Inspect the brake disc for wear or damage.
2. Push the plunger deeper into the caliper using the clamp.
3. Clean the brake mechanism from dust and dirt.
4. Remove the caliper mounting bolt (arrow, top arrow Set screw connection banjo brake hose).
5. Lift the caliper (left) and secure the caliper position by a length of wire (right).
6. Remove the anti-noise spring.
7. Remove the outer brake pad.
8. Remove the inner brake pad.
9. Remove the fixing clamps of brake linings.
10. Replace the retaining clips, if they are loosely mounted on the caliper mounting bracket.
11. Apply anti-noise grease on the reverse side of the brake linings.
12. Install the new inner brake lining.
13. Install the new outer brake lining.
14. Replace the anti-noise spring.
15. Clean and lubricate caliper finger its high-temperature grease.
16. Install the caliper on the brake disc and pad.
17. Install the retaining bolt and tighten it to the required torque.

Rear-wheel drive

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the cap of the brake fluid reservoir. Remove the wheel. Inspect the brake disc for wear or damage.
2. Remove the cable clamp with the hand brake.
3. Remove the adjusting nut of a rope of a manual brake.
4. Disconnect the cable from the lever.
5. Remove the bolt (left) and tighten up an adjusting gear counter-clockwise to remove the caliper piston deep into the (right).
6. Remove the caliper mounting bolt.
7. Remove the caliper from the brake disc.
8. Remove anti-noise spring.
9. Remove the outer brake pad.
10. Remove the inner brake lining.
11. Remove the attachment of brake linings.
12. Before installing the brake pads put on their reverse side of anti-grease.
13. Installation is spent upside-down removals.

Front and rear wheels

Establish wheels and lower the car to the ground. Check the hydraulic fluid level in a tank of brake system and brake system.
