Servo

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
Verifying
1. Depress the pedal and start the engine. If the pedal is slightly lowered, then booster is defective.
2. Depress the brake pedal several times with the engine running and check to reserve the brake pedal travel has always been the same.
Leak test
3. Start the engine and stop it after a couple of minutes. Slowly depress the brake pedal several times. Stroke of the brake pedal should decrease each time.
4. Depress the brake pedal with the engine running, then shut off the engine, hold the brake pedal. If the pedal does not drop within 30 seconds, then booster is sealed.

Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the brake master cylinder. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the amplifier.
2. Disconnect the pushrod from the brake pedal.
3. Unscrew the four nuts and remove the amplifier.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Installation is spent upside-down removals.
2. Connect the vacuum pump to an amplifier and create a negative pressure of 500 mm Hg.
3. Measure the distance from the servo to the pusher - the distance "A".
4. Measure the distance from the mounting flange to the end of the master cylinder - the distance "B".
5. Measure the distance from the end of the master cylinder to the recess in the piston - is the distance "B".
6. Subtract the value of "B" from the value of "B", subtract the value obtained from the value of "A". The result is the value of the gap servo pusher.
7. Adjust the length of the pusher (1), if necessary by loosening the lock nut (2) and tighten up control pusher.
