Relay

Relay test

Check that the switch opens the circuit in the absence of voltage, and the circuit is closed when voltage is applied.

Some elements of the vehicle's electrical relays used for the transmission of electrical signals. If the relay is defective, the electrical equipment will not operate.

Blinker relay timer door locks, horn relay, the relay position lamps / parking light / license plate light bulbs / wipers and headlamp switch are located in the relay box under the dashboard on the driver's side. The electronic control unit and the relay daylight located under the dashboard on the passenger side. On models since 1995 release of the horn relay is located on the wall of the cabin under the dashboard on the passenger side.

If the relay is faulty, it must be replaced.
