Identification of the terminals of the ignition switch

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Remove the column cover.
3. Disconnect the connection of the ignition switch.
4. Check for continuity between the switch terminals, guided by the Table of conductivity of the ignition switch.
5. Check the operation of the drum lock.

Replacement

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. Remove the column cover.
2. Disconnect the connection, loosen the fixing screw (arrow) and remove the switch.
Drum Castle
3. Remove the column cover and lower trim panel.

4. Disconnect the cable (A) from the ignition lock, drill shear bolts (B) and remove the ignition.
5. Drill the mounting studs and remove the drum lock.
6. Installation is spent upside-down removals.
