Replacing the wiper blades
1. Raise the wiper arm.

2. Brush the windscreen: press down the plastic bracket of the brush and pulling down, remove the brush 1 (Fig. 3.13) a hook arm. For the rear window wiper (T-model): Lift the wiper arm, set the brush horizontally. Press the latch and pull the brush down to remove it. 3. Use a narrow screwdriver 3 (see. Fig. 3.13), disconnect the holders of the rubber band 4. 4. Moving a rubber band, remove it from the frame 2 of the brush. 5. To replace only the rubber band previously loosen the bracket holder. 6. Use a rubber band into the holder so that the slots are facing the notches on the rubber band. 7. To rubber band a good entry into the grooves of the holder, squirt it with soapy water. 8. Crimp pliers holder pins and put the brush down. 9. Brush assembly is positioned so that it fits exactly between the guide slots of the lever.
A WARNING When installing a new brush assembly lower down the plastic bracket on the retainer. |
10. Set the brush bracket and snap back, having stopped it on the lever. 11. Lower the lever on the glass and make sure the brush is firmly pressed to the glass. 12. Check the wiper on a wet glass.
A WARNING When the direction of operation of the lever should brush across the edge of the rubber fitting glass. If not, gently bend the lever so as to be parallel to the glass. |
