Noises in the rear wheel drive shafts

Each wheel is composed of two shafts and constant velocity joints.
Hinges - quite trusted sites, but it can lead to the contamination of their premature wear. Defective hinges emit a knock at the start or reversing. You can hear these knocks and when you move the car with the engine not running. With strong worn knocks develop into a permanent run-out.
When knocking is rather difficult to determine which of the four hinges is that they cause. To do this, remove the drive shafts of the rear wheels and manually check how smoothly and accurately operate the hinges.
After removing the drive shafts can be replaced rubber mudguard covers and inner CV joint. Replacement of the external hinge impossible - in this case is necessary to replace the entire drive shaft.
