Checking the tire

The front wheels act as driving, as well as experiencing a heavy load during braking. Therefore, their tires wear out faster. Tyre condition easier to check on the raised car.

SEQUENCE OF WORK
1. Turn each wheel completely. Carefully remove from the grooves of the tread screwdriver stones and other foreign objects. If the detected bus glass or nail, may at this point exits the air.
2. Inspect the tire for any damage of the tread (traces of blows, cuts, cracks or the broken pieces). When the damaged rubber moisture can easily get inside the bus. Outside, it is impossible to determine whether there is corrosion stabilizing metal cord. For greater reliability entrust checking tire specialist. The same should be done in case of increased wear.
3. The depth of the tread across the tire should be less than 1.6 mm. Some brands of tires in several places there is a special indicator of wear. Letters ?twi? (tread wear indicator) on the sidewall to indicate the location of these indicators. Drivability deteriorates with tire wear, especially in the wet. For safety reasons, we recommend replacing summer tires when the tread depth of 2 mm, the winter - at 4 mm.
4. Check for uneven wear of the tires.
5. Inspect the tire sidewalls carefully. Hernias and projections indicate damage to the internal structure of the tire.
