Malfunction of the fuel pump



Checking the fuel pump is carried out in the workshop. You can independently measure the fuel supply.

SEQUENCE OF WORK
1. Remove the end of the fuel return pipe and place it in the measuring container.
2. The distribution pump: start up the engine. At idle, 0.25 L to be supplied for 15 seconds.
3. Inline pump: remove the ignition key, the engine will not start.
4. Turn the starter via an auxiliary wire for 30 seconds.
5. With a good amount of fuel supplied to the battery should be at least 0.15 liters.
6. If the measured amount of fuel is insufficient, replace the fuel pump.
