Power system






The power supply system includes a fuel tank to the canister, the fuel pump and fuel lines, fuel filter and fuel injection system with an air filter. The fuel tank is fuel gauge. The fuel tank is vented through a closed ventilation system. Fuel vapors produced in the tank are trapped in the absorber, and then fed to the engine intake manifold and into the cylinders. The fuel pump to the fuel filter is located on the underside of the vehicle on the right front of the rear axle.

NOTE
At the T-model fuel pump is located separately, behind the rear axle final drive, the fuel filter is located on the left front of the rear axle.

A WARNING
When removing the fuel pump mount clamp on the fuel hose bending.

Technical Dictionary
Fuel tank. The fuel tank is made of steel and is located behind the rear seat. At the T-models it is located under the luggage compartment. Tank capacity depends on the model of the car. So, the car sedan it is 65 liters, the T-model - 70 l. On top of the tank fuel level sensor is located.

Fuel pump. Fuel pump electric supplies fuel for the fuel line from the fuel tank to the engine.
Fuel Filter. Fuel filter for diesel engines is set to the direct injection of fuel into the combustion chamber. It cleans the fuel from liquid and solids.
Absorber. Absorber with activated charcoal filter captures fuel vapor exiting the fuel tank. When the engine is running the fuel vapor is forcibly fed from the carbon filter to the intake manifold, where it is mixed with fresh fuel mixture.
Fuel lines. Fuel for which the fuel tank is supplied to the motor, made of durable material and are provided with terminal or screw clamps. Piping inlet and outlet of the fuel pass underneath the car.
