Removing and installing fuel level sensor
Withdrawal
A WARNING Make sure that during operation of the room is included electrical appliances, hot objects, naked flames, heat and radio waves. Ensure good ventilation of the workplace, because the fuel vapors are toxic. The fuel system is pressurized. When disconnecting its components splashes of fuel - collect it with a cloth. Work is carried out in goggles. |
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
A WARNING When you disconnect the wire from the negative terminal of the battery in the memories are erased codes entered in them, such as the radio code. |
2. If the fuel tank is full, the pump out of it about 8 liters of fuel using the compressed pear, dropping a hose into the filler neck.

3. Remove the luggage compartment trim at the wall that separates the luggage compartment from the passenger compartment. To do this, disconnect the clamp 3 (Fig. 5.45), remove the screw. 4. If there is a ski bag 2, disconnect it and slide up. These perform the same operation on the other side of the car.
NOTE Do not remove the clip 1. |
The T-models: 5. Remove the luggage compartment floor.

6. Remove the pin 1 (Fig. 5.46) from the fuel level sensor.

7. Remove the fuel level sensor by turning the cover to the left.
NOTE Repair trucks during this operation using a special key. However, this key can be made independently. Sketch key is shown in Fig. 5.47. |
8. Remove the fuel level sensor with O-ring. Setting 9. Place the sensor with a new seal, lubricate it with engine oil. 10. Screw the lid with a special key. 11. Connect the connector 1. 12. Refit the luggage compartment.
