Lubrication system

Without proper lubrication of the engine stops for a few minutes. The wafer-thin oil film protects against the damaging friction and dynamic linking mechanisms of the engine such as pistons and piston pins, cylinder working surfaces, connecting rods and main bearings of the crankshaft, the timing details.
In order to ensure the continued availability of the oil film in the contact details of the oil while the engine is circulated through pipes and canals. The oil pump draws oil from the sump and distributes lubrication system channels to the lubrication points. To clean the engine oil passes through the oil filter, which cleans it from wear products and other foreign inclusions. Purification is performed as long as the microscopic pores of the oil filter will not be completely clogged wear products.
When the filter starts clogging safety valve that opens at a certain pressure auxiliary circulation path. Unfiltered oil primarily causes rapid wear of the bearings. From the filter the lubricant over the holes in the cylinder block is flagged to the bearings of the crankshaft, connecting rod and valve mechanism in the cylinder head. Due to the inclined position of the engine, it may, with the lowest point of the cylinder head through the hole without additional heat flow into the oil bath. The walls of the cylinder and piston pins are lubricated by oil flows through the connecting rods.
Another important feature is the heat transfer oil from the lubricated surfaces. Piston head sprayed with oil from the bottom, which is not supplied for lubrication and cooling.
