Replacement tips of steering drafts
Tips of steering rods bolted to the body of the rack on the left and right sides. The advantage of this design is that in case of malfunction tip body is not necessary to change the assembly.
1. The car in front, set on supports and remove a corresponding wheel. 2. Loosen the caulking nut ball joint.

3. Use a stripper squeeze out a finger of the spherical hinge of the pivot arm (Fig. 7.16), then remove the nut.

4. Mark the position of the tip of the steering link (or count the number of revolutions when loosening the tip), so that when refitting tighten the tip to its original length, otherwise the installation will be broken wheels. Clean the threads of dirt using liquid against corrosion. Release the safety nut on tie rod wrench SW21 and holding the key thrust of the slots SW13 (Fig. 7.17), unscrew it from the rod end. 5. Before installing the back, clean the tip cone and the opening track rod. 6. Insert a finger of the spherical hinge of steering draft in a rotary lever and tighten the new self-locking nuts to 60 Nm, tighten the lock nut securing the tip to the steering draft in the same moment. 7. Check the wheels and steering. If necessary, adjust at station.
