Removal and installation of the air filter



The engine air filter 2.3 liters

Location of the air filter on the engine capacity of 2.3 liters shown in Fig. 156 (in front of the left side of the engine compartment). Depending on the type of accommodation varies engine air intake pipes. The engine is turbocharged pipe laid between the front of the engine and the air filter housing. Pipe connected to the air flow sensor, which can also be removed.
The filter housing is mounted on rubber pads from the bottom. When installing the filter housing must be ensured so that the arrows shown pins fit into the corresponding holes.

To replace the filter (Fig. 169), open the clamps on the sides of the lid of the filter housing, remove the lid and remove the filter.

Note
Index of air filter indicates the degree of contamination (the red zone). Upon reaching the red zone of 100% is necessary to replace the filter.
