Removing and installing clutch
For removal of the clutch is necessary to remove the gearbox, acting below the car. Withdrawal
| Checking the wear of the clutch disc: Fork probe 0.8 mm must pass between the plunger and the seal |
| - Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
- Remove the gearbox.
- Lock the flywheel.
- Gradually unscrew the pressure plate mounting bolts to the flywheel.
- Remove the clutch cover.

| - Clean and check all parts, in particular the thickness of the clutch disc, the state of the working surface of the flywheel and pressure plate.
- Check the condition of the bearing of a primary shaft gearbox nest flywheel.
- Replace defective parts.
- Install the clutch, clutch disc arranging the protruding portion of the hub in the direction of the pressure plate and center mandrel drive the flywheel Mercedes 116 589 15 November 00, simulating the slotted end of the primary shaft of the gearbox.
- Wrap plate mounting bolts to the flywheel.
- Remove the flywheel holder.
- Coat the splines on the input shaft of the gearbox thin layer of grease to the clutch.
- Install transmission.
- Connect the negative terminal of the battery.
