Removing and installing coolant temperature sensor (ECT)



Details ECT sensor installation on diesel models


PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Details of installation of the ECT sensor shown in the illustration, which includes all the links in the text.
  2. Disconnect the negative wire from the battery.
  3. Remove the trim panel of the power unit.
  4. Remove the diffuser (see chap. Power supply system and exhaust).
  5. Drain the coolant from the radiator (see chap. Power supply system and exhaust).
  6. Disconnect the wiring connector (1) Release catch (2) and remove the gauge ECT (B11 / 4).
  7. Installation is in the reverse order.
  8. Finally, season with a cooling system and check its components for signs of leaks.
