Installation Details thermofilter crankcase RKPP

Checking wear clutch

The disc is OK

The disc is worn out

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. For visual evaluation of the degree of wear of the friction linings of the friction clutch, release the fixing bolts (5) and remove thermofilter (6).
  2. Checks are made using a special meter (4), introduced a plastic washer (2) of the executive cylinder flange (4), and wear on the thrust pin (3). With proper disk meter installed risks are completely hidden (arrow b). If the meter is fully seated on the finger, the risks remain open (arrow A), so that the disc has reached the wear limit values.
