Removing and installing flange front drive shaft and double-row angular contact ball bearing front hub



Details of the installation flange of the front drive shaft and double row angular contact wheel bearing


PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Details of the installation flange of the front drive shaft and radial-axial wheel bearing shown in the illustration, which includes all the links in the text.
  2. Remove the knuckle (see. Section Removal and installation of the steering knuckle, ball joint replacement).
  3. Use the extractor to remove the knuckle flange of the drive shaft (9).
  4. Using pliers, remove the retaining ring (9p).
  5. With extractor liberate from the knuckle-row angular contact ball bearing (9n).
  6. If necessary, release the inner race of the bearing flange of the drive shaft and replace it last.
  7. Installation is performed in reverse order, in conclusion, make the necessary adjustment of the wheels.
