Removal and installation of the oil level sensor



Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove the bottom cover of the engine compartment, address to Section Check of the engine by means of the vacuum gauge.
2. Drain the engine oil or aspirate it, refer to Section Replacement of impellent oil and the oil filter.

3. Disconnect the connector (1) the oil level sensor (2).

4. Remove the bolts (3). Tilt the sensor and remove it from the sump.


Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Place the oil level sensor with a new sealing ring and tighten its moment of 14Nm (the new oil pan torque 10Nm).
2. Dock connector.
3. Replace the bottom cover of an impellent compartment, address to Section Check of the engine by means of the vacuum gauge.
4. Fill the engine cooling system, refer to Section Replacement of impellent oil and the oil filter.
5. Start and warm up the engine. Check the oil level sensor for leaks.


6-cylinder petrol engine

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove the bottom of the oil pan.
2. Remove the bottom of the oil level sensor (in the front, next to the oil suction pipe) by removing the 2 screws Torx.
3. Secure the oil level sensor torque 10Nm.
