Removing and installing chain tensioner



Engine 111

Vv?�rnut chain tensioner in the cylinder head to the right. Through the hole in the cylinder head is provided with a tensioner lubricating oil.

Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. 111,951 Engine: Remove the air filter. Remove the generator.
2. 111,955 Engine: Remove the air filter from the executive body of the circulating valve. Remove the compressor. Close the generator with a clean cloth.

3. Remove one turn tip (1). This requires a 10 mm socket wrench.

After removing the tip of the tensioner in any case must be removed.

4. Remove the hexagon head of the tensioner body (7) of the cylinder head.


Dismantling

PERFORMANCE ORDER

After removing the tip of the tensioner must be removed to disassemble and reassemble, because otherwise the timing chain drive mechanism can be tightened.

1. Remove the cap (1) with the sealing ring (2) of the tensioner.
2. Remove from the housing pin (3) and compression spring (4).
3. Squeeze out of the housing (7), the pin (6) with a locking ring (5).


Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Insert rear pin (6) with a locking ring (5) so as to sit flush with the front tensioner housing (7).
2. Replace the tensioner body (7) with a finger, the locking and sealing ring (8) in the housing cover and secure timing point 80-nm.
3. Insert the tensioner spring (4) and the pin (3).
