Speedometer and tachometer

The speedometer indicates the vehicle speed in km / h, the tachometer shows engine speed in thousands of engine rev / min and is designed to control engine speed - the arrow must not enter the red zone of the scale.

Previously, switching to the overdrive to save fuel and reduce noise of the power unit. During the running of the car to avoid too high speed of the crankshaft.

Pointer stock of fuel

Pointer stock of fuel used for visual monitoring of the stock remaining in the fuel tank. Error reading pointer stock of fuel is minimal when the car occupies strictly horizontal position, and increases when driving on winding or hilly roads. The index works at the included ignition. When entering the area pointer in the reserve fuel supply is switched corresponding to K / A, and on some models in the multi-function display shows the corresponding message. It should at the earliest opportunity to make car refueling. The arrow next to the image under the bar dispenser fuel reserve indicator points to the direction of arrangement of the fuel filler.

The display in the instrument cluster

The display in the instrument cluster is designed to display the time data, odometer and mileage meters. Mileage data are shown in the upper display field. The short (no longer than a second) press the select button to the left of the display alternates the mode indicating the bottom margin of the display in the cyclic sequence: hours, pointer path A, a pointer path B, the clock. The odometer records the total mileage (km) of the car from the moment its commissioning.

Clock

Set by pressing the select clock mode.

To switch between 12- and 24-hour time display mode, briefly press the setup button. When you select the 12-hour clock mode to the right of indicator lights AM (before noon) or PM (afternoon).

To set the hour, press and hold the set button for at least three seconds. This image numbers in the senior ranks (hours), a separator (colon) and the characters AM or PM (when the clock is in 12-hour time display mode) will blink. Each time you press the button setting the clock change for 1 hour. If you hold the button longer than one second clock will be changed at 2 hours a second. If the setting button is not pressed for 5 seconds, the clock will move to the setting mode minutes.

In the set the minute digits in the picture LSB (minutes) and the separator (colon) are flashing. Depending on the duration of pressing the installation changes in the ranks minutes readings occur at different rates (from 1 to 8 minutes in a second). To reset bits in seconds (these bits are not displayed hours) until to the separator (colon) started flashing and click on the install button. After that, the watch returns to normal time display. If the setting button is not pressed within 60 seconds, the time display in the ranks minutes increase by 1 minute, and the watch returns to normal operation. A sign that the clock back to normal time display, is the lack of blinking digits, separator and indicators AM and PM.

Double pointer path

Double pointer trip mileage can simultaneously monitor the mileage of the car, starting with two different times (the trip A, trip B).

In order to reset the selected trip mileage pointer, press the reset button (located to the right of the display) and hold it down for at least one second.

In case of failure of some systems in addition to the inclusion of the corresponding K / L on the multifunction display (with appropriate equipment) message is displayed.

Controls and Lights

The following describes the K / A, and indicators located in the instrument cluster.

In order to control fault K / A and indicator cock the parking brake and turn the ignition. This should illuminate the following K / L: . . . and (blue). The following K / L light up for a short time and then have to go out: . . . (of red color), . (of red color), and . If a K / A for the verification is not included, it may mean that it burns out, or it has an open circuit.

- K / L system SRS, its description is given in Section System of additional safety (SRS).

- K / L faults brake / parking brake indicator of charging. Included at raising the parking brake, or when the level of brake fluid to the critical value.

- K / A battery charge. Its inclusion with the engine running may indicate a failure of the system charge. Turn off the engine and check the alternator drive belt. If necessary, tighten the belt. If the belt is tensioned correctly, and K / L does not go out, check the system battery (see chap. Systems of an electric motor and diagrams).

- K / A open door, lights up when one of the car doors are not closed or not closed properly. This should be included ignition.

- K / A low temperature coolant (blue) / motor overheating (red). K / L is lit with blue light until the coolant warms up to a temperature of about 50 degrees, and at temperatures above 108 degrees coolant lights red. When the K / L engine overheating must be as soon as possible to stop and check the coolant level (see. Section Check of levels of liquids, the control of leaks).

- K / A low-pressure motor oil. If the vehicle under normal conditions, this K / L is turned on or flashing, as soon as possible to stop and check the motor oil (see. Section Check of levels of liquids, the control of leaks). Running the engine with a low oil level can cause serious engine damage.

- K / L faults electric power steering (EPAS). If A / R does not go out after a reference check when the ignition or comes on while driving a car, perhaps, EPAS is faulty. In some cases, the inclusion of the K / A may affect external factors. Stop, wait about 20 seconds, then switch on the ignition. If K / L stays check system EPAS.

When a faulty steering amplifier can continue to use the car, but the steering wheel will have to put more effort than in the intact system EPAS.

- K / A ignition switch (only on models with the system ?Intelligent Key?). Warns the driver of a gear or AT mode (except ?P?) at the established position ?LOCK? the ignition switch. See. For more information, subsection Castle / ignition switch and steering lock.

- K / A immobilizer NATS. Flashes when the key or ignition switch is turned to ?LOCK? or ?Acc?, which indicates that the vehicle is equipped with NATS. See. The section also anti-theft system.

- K / A is not wearing a seat belt, it reminds the driver to fasten the seat belt. K / L when the ignition is switched on and stays on for as long as the belt in the front seat is not fastened. If the front seat belt not fastened at speeds above 25 km / h. buzzer.

- K / A (green) and R / A (red) fault system ?Intelligent Key?. LED turns on when you turn the ignition switch from position ?OFF? position ?Acc?, if the brake pedal is depressed and the key system ?Intelligent Key? is in the car. In position ?Acc? light goes off. If the control unit of the system ?Intelligent Key? Nikos detect the battery voltage, the LED lights up when you turn the ignition switch from position ?OFF? position ?ON?. When you turn the ignition switch to ?Acc? or ?ON? for a few seconds turns the K / A, and then should go off, indicating that about serviceability of ?Intelligent Key?. K / L flashes if established in position ?Acc? or ?ON? to make the ignition switch unit outside of its validity (eg, through an open window). The additional buzzer.

- K / A ABS. The indicator while driving indicates a fault in the ABS. In this work the main system continues to function normally.

- K / A fuel stockpile, is activated if the tank is a minimum amount of fuel. Fill with fuel as soon as possible. Avoid consuming the fuel.

- K / A malfunction of the engine. If K / L stays on faulty engine control system; if K / L flashes, glitches in the ignition system that can lead to failure of the engine management system. In this case, to avoid or reduce the risk of damage to the engine management system, do not exceed the speed of 70 km / h, avoid abrupt acceleration and braking, steep ascents and towing a heavy trailer.

- K / A lock upshifting (on models with AT). Lights when the overdrive switch is set to ?OFF?. If the AT operates in emergency mode, the next time you turn on the ignition, this K / A will turn on for 2 seconds and then blinks for about 8 seconds. Despite the fact that under these conditions, the vehicle can move under its own power, it should be remembered that the AT will continue to work for the 3rd gear. AT can go into emergency mode at heavy traffic conditions, even if it is fully serviceable. In this case, turn off the ignition and turn it on after 3 seconds. If the AT is in emergency mode, repair it.

- K / A the reverse foggy lantern.

- LED indicators and alarms.

- K / L indicator main beam.
