Removal and installation of the AT



Withdrawal

Components fastening AT


PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the battery (see chap. Systems of an electric motor) and the duct (see chap. Power supply system and exhaust).
  2. Remove the breather hose and gauge CKP (see. Section Principle of operation of the engine management system).
  1. Disconnect the sensor wiring PNP, e / m of the valve, the VSS and the ground cable.
  1. Remove the AT selector lever cable.
  2. Remove the front section of the exhaust pipe (see chap. Power supply system and exhaust).
  3. Remove the drive shafts (see chap. Drive shafts, steering knuckles and Hub assembly).
  4. Remove the oil cooler hose.
  5. Remove the starter motor (see chap. Systems of an electric motor).
  6. Remove the converter housing Bellow (see. Illustration of the fastening component of AT).
  7. While cranking the engine, remove the four screws on the drive disc and the torque converter.
  8. Establish a jack under the AT.
  9. Remove the bracket and the rear engine mounts idler arm and loosen the bolts of antibodies to the left engine support bracket (see chap. Engine).
  10. Establish a jack under the engine.
  11. Remove the bolts AT the engine and remove the AT.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Make sure that the distance between the torque converter and the end of his body is not less than 21.1 mm.
  1. Install the torque converter to the drive disc and rotate the crankshaft several revolutions to ensure smooth progress of the AT.
  1. Tighten AT: bolts ?��1 (50 mm) and ?��2 (135 mm) - with effort 31 ÷ 40 N ??? m and bolts ?��3 (20 mm) and ?��4 (30 mm) - with effort 17 ÷ 23 N ??? m.

The bolts are of different lengths, do not mix them.

  1. Install all the components acting in film.
  2. After installing, adjust selector lever cable (see. Section Adjustment of a cable of the selector), adjust the ATF level and make sure there are no leaks of it. Check the operation of AT.
