Removal and installation of the heat sink and fan assembly



The components and the fastening of a radiator fan models AT and K / V, and all models without K /

1 - Build the fan
2, 13, 16 - Hose clamp
3 - Upper radiator hose
4 - Radiator
5 - Radiator cap
6, 7 - Rubber feet
8, 10, 11 - a hose clamp (model AT)

9, 12 - hoses of cooler ATF
14 - the lower radiator hose
15 - Bracket
17 - Cover the expansion tank
18 - Expansion tank
19 - Hose expansion tank

Components mounting heat sink and fan models with Manual transmission and K /

1 - Radiator
2, 14 - Rubber feet
3 - Upper radiator hose
4, 6, 10, 12 - Hose Clamp
5 - Radiator cap

7, 13 - the surge tank hose
8 - Expansion tank
9 - the fan assembly
11 - the lower radiator hose

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Drain the cooling system (see. Section Replacement of a cooling liquid).
  2. Remove the fixing bolts to be able to move the relay unit.
  3. Remove wheel arch lockers and grille (see. Section Removal and installation of the e / motor of the fan heater).
  4. Remove the upper and lower radiator hoses.
  5. On models with AT remove oil cooler and plug the hoses them.
  1. Suspend the bundles on the radiator (with fan) and condenser K / B on the upper support beam of the radiator.
  1. Remove the upper air duct clamps on the right side of the radiator.
  1. Remove the bolts lower radiator support beam (see chap. Body).
  2. Remove the bottom of the duct clamps and lower radiator support beam.
  3. Loosen the harness and remove the heat sink assembly with fan, lowering them by car.
  1. Separate the expansion tank from fan cowl by pulling it upwards and towards the left side of the vehicle.
  1. Remove from the heat sink fan assembly.
  2. Installation is performed in the reverse sequence of dismantling the components. When installing the lower support beam radiator, make sure the rubber feet are included in the appropriate holes.
