Removal, check and thermostat installation
The components of the thermostat | | |
| - Drain the cooling system (see. Section Replacement of a cooling liquid).
- Remove the air intake hose and air cleaner assembly covers (see. Section Removal and installation of components of an inlet air path).
- Remove the upper radiator hose.
- Remove the gutter pipe and the thermostat.
- If necessary, remove the ECT sensor and the tube heater.
- To check the thermostat lower to the wire in a bowl of water so that it does not touch the vessel wall. By heating the water, check the temperature of the beginning and end of the opening of the thermostat and turn the thermostat valve. Compare the values with the requirements of the Specifications, and, if necessary, replace the thermostat.
- Installation is in the reverse order. Pay attention to the following points.
| - Make sure that the new O-ring on the circumference Sway securely mounted on the flange of the thermostat.

- Thermostat and drain pipe should be designed in accordance with the illustrations below.
- When installing the heater tubes lubricate its thread sealant.
- If the shot sensor ECT, replace the copper washer.
