general information

In order to reduce the content in the exhaust gases of the three main toxic components - carbon monoxide (CO), hydrocarbon compounds and nitrogen oxides (NOx) - cars of these models are equipped with a number of special systems.

This chapter is devoted to analysis of such systems reduce emissions as crankcase ventilation system, exhaust gas recirculation - 3.0 liter engines, the quality management system during deseleratsii mixture, temperature control of the intake air and a system for collecting fuel vapors.
