Systems of an electric motor

general information

The structure of electric motor includes all the components of ignition systems, starting and charging. In view of the fact that their function, these components are directly providing the engine, they are considered separately from the components of an onboard electric equipment, such as lighting fixtures, control devices, screen wipers / washers, etc.

When working with electrical equipment should always observe certain precautions:

  1. Care should be taken - especially electrical easily fail due to incorrect handling during testing, connection and maintenance.
  2. It is unacceptable to leave the ignition switched on for a long time with the engine off.
  3. In no event it is impossible to disconnect the wires from the battery when the engine is running.
  4. When connecting wires from the auxiliary power supply at emergency start of the engine should strictly observe the polarity.
  5. Negative wire must always be disconnected from the battery first and connect the latter to avoid short circuit if accidentally touched an instrument of mass during the give / tightening the positive terminal clamp.
