1. Lift the front of the car and establish on supports. |
2. Move the selector lever to R. |
3. Remove the center section of the front panel. |
4. Remove the nut, remove the cover of a cable bracket and disconnect the cable from the selector. |
5. Remove the bolt and the bracket, pull the rope. |
6. Remove the nut on the lever, remove the bracket from the bracket and remove the cable. Keep in mind that the position of the lever of the transmission when the installation of a cable should not be changed (label lever position before removing the cable). |
7. Check for signs of wear on the cable and damage. |
8. Check the freedom of movement of the cable in the shell. Keep in mind that when replacing the cable could seize, despite the apparent ease of his movements in a fully expanded state. |
9. In severe injuries, replace the cable. |
