Catalytic converter - a reliable and simple device which does not require maintenance.

In some cases, the exhaust pipe can escape the smell of sulfur (similar to the smell of rotten eggs). It is frequent for new cars that are running the catalytic converter. After several thousand kilometers smell should disappear.

Catalytic converter on the car, which was carried out regular maintenance and that properly managed, should serve from 80 000 to 150 000 kilometers. However, if before the expiration of this period, the catalytic converter loses its effectiveness, it must be replaced.
